Horden is a village on the coast of County Durham with a population of 10,000. Much has been achieved in the village in recent years and the council is seeking to continue improvements and regeneration measures which will benefit the community. Horden is a Quality Parish Council which operates a range of facilities including parks, playing fields, cemetery and community centre.
The Council seeks to appoint a dynamic and dedicated officer
to maintain progress and achieve Council objectives.
The successful candidate must have a flexible approach, relevant experience in finance and the management of staff, be educated to degree standard and
hold (or be willing to obtain) the Certificate in Local Council Administration.
