Mr Terry Jones - Councillor for North Horden

Mr Terry JonesBoth my late father Roy Jones and Grandfather Billy Jones were Miners working in Horden all their lives and had great pride in being Horden residents as do I and this is why after 13 years service as a Tank Soldier in the Army serving in Iraq, Kosovo, Bosnia, Cyprus, Germany and Canada me and my wife, Catharine and son Nathan, decided to settle back here and set up in business and straight away in knew I wanted to be involved in making Horden a better place to live. This is why I opted to work for the Parish Council.

I look forward to tackling issues to enable Horden to grow and strongly believe that the future of Horden lies in our youth so we need to give as much encouragement and assistance to our young people making them proud to be from Horden and bring back to its full potential the community spirit that Horden deserves.
